In 2014, Song Dao Town was recognized as "a famous town of steel shovel industry in Hebei Province" by the Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology. In 2017, the town of Song Dao was named by the province as the characteristic town of cultivation-China Steel Shoe Town. After more than 40 years of market tempering, Songdaokou in Luannan has embarked on an industrial development road of "small steel shovel, big strategy, small products and big market".
